					<description><![CDATA[Daniel García Andújar (Almoradí, Alicante, 1966) revisa en Postcapital Archive la situación histórica, social y económica tras dos acontecimientos de impacto mundial: la caída del Muro de Berlín y los atentados terroristas contra las torres gemelas de Nueva York del 11 de septiembre de 2001, ataque que inaugura la entrada en el siglo XXI difundiendo terror en lugar de esperanza. Basada en un archivo digital formado por alrededor de 250.000 documentos textuales y audiovisuales recopilados de internet por el artista, la pieza se interroga sobre los cambios que la desaparición del bloque comunista ha provocado en las sociedades capitalistas, o postcapitalistas, como las define el artista. Paradójicamente, frente a esa esperanza de convivencia con la que se interpretó en un primer momento la caída del Muro, tras los sucesos de 1989 y 2001 se ha incrementado la militarización y se han levantado cada vez más obstáculos, no solo físicos, en muchos Estados de todo el mundo.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[The project “Postcapital Archive (1989-2001)” by artist Daniel G. Andújar, which uses an extensive digital archive to analyze themes of history, politics, culture and economy, is an example of how art can challenge power structures and dominant ideologies in a post-communist world. Through montages, installations and workshops, Andújar questions notions of progress, democracy and freedom, as well as the influence of information technologies on social life.
